Assassins
Birmingham Village Players, 2009. Co-costumed show with 4 castmates.
The director asked several of the ensemble cast members to work as a team to costume this show. I helped coordinate the design concept and worked with 4 of my castmates to assemble the ensemble wardrobe.
Color played a key role in this production. The director requested that the assassins each have a signature color in the spectrum: Red - Sam Byck; Burgundy - Squeeky Fromme; Pink - Charles Guiteau; Orange - Sarah Jane Moore; Yellow - Giuseppe Zangara; Green - John Hinkley; Blue - Leon Czolgosz; Purple - John Wilkes Booth
With all of these colors on the characters, I came up with the idea of putting the ensemble in a tight hue of grey for their basic look, to contrast the passion and attention that all of the assassins sought against the greys of normal society.

Peeps
The crowd of sunshine yellow ensemble for “How I Saved Roosevelt.” We affectionately dubbed ourselves the Peeps. 15 years later and we still connect every Easter with peep greetings and jokes.
