Birmingham Village Players, 2010, I was costume coordinator and show wardrobe running crew. Costume design by director (and leading character) Michael Gravame
The Drowsy Chaperone
Stylized roaring 20’s, theatrical costumes. I believe this was the Michigan premier of the show. I coordinated costumes based on design direction from the director, Michael Gravame, and based on the Broadway production. Many costumes built from scratch. Most notable is the costumes for the number, “Show Off.” This song requires at least 7 quick change outfits for one actress…each on-stage for less than a minute!
