Foundation Paper Piecing: Tumbling Log Cabin Block, designed by me. Each nine inch block contains 30 different color fabrics in 3 gradating colorways (red, yellow, purple,) arranged to create a swirling flame effect. Titled for the tarot card #16 - The Dark Tower, which symbolizes sudden and total, unexpected change. A new direction. The pattern uses only straight lines, but creates an illusion of 3D curves.
