Floral Fractals - a one-block-wonder quilt
one-block-wonder quilts are made from a single large-pattern fabric. Stacking 6 copies, perfectly aligned, then cutting the entire stack into equilateral triangles, yeilding 6 identical copies. These 6 triangles are stitched together to form random hexagon kaleidoscope blocks. Then the fun begins of arranging the different colors and shades, like painting a watercolor painting.

6 copies of these flowers were stacked perfectly on top of each other. All of the hexagons in the two lap quilts were cut from this one fabric print.

The hexagon blocks were arranged to form 2 lap quilts.
